Our new year of Kindermusik classes start in the week commencing Monday 9th September and what a year it is going to be with a new Kindermusik teacher, an improved booking system and a monthly payment option!
New Kindermusik teacher
I am excited to officially announce that I now have a new educator training with me and joining the Kindermusik with Sarah team! Rachel is a very accomplished musician and expert in early years development and I am so excited to have her on board – watch out for more information about Rachel and her training progress on my social media feeds over the next few months! An additional Kindermusik teacher will enable me to reach more families and children with the joy of music making, starting with the addition of classes on Mondays from January 2020. We will also continue with our inter-generational classes at Lakeside Care Home on Thursday afternoons for 1 and 2 year olds restarting again in September.
New booking and invoicing system
With expansion comes a need to streamline my business processes so that we can spend more time teaching Kindermusik and less time doing administration! With this in mind, I have invested in a new booking and invoicing system over the summer – those of you who have signed up for my summer playdates will have had a little taster already! This new system is provided by Kindermusik International (and they have only just released it!) so all your bookings, payments and access to digital home materials and music will all be in one place with one log-in.
Monthly payments
Increasingly, I am being asked by new families to pay monthly and spread the cost of payments and my new system will allow me to do this all through one secure payment system. For all baby, toddler and pre-school classes from September 2020, I will be introducing monthly payments during term time – all you will have to do is register a debit/credit card on the secure Kindermusik website and payments will be taken automatically on the 4th of each month unless the current 4 weeks notice is provided. Additional benefits for families include:
- Online make-up class booking if you can’t make your booked class (subject to availability)
- Spread out payments during term-time rather than large upfront payments (payments will be taken in Sept, Oct, Nov, Jan, Feb, Mar, May, Jun, Jul)
- One site (my.kindermusik.com) to access all things Kindermusik – bookings, make-ups, music, online materials!
- Ability to pause payments for e.g. extended holidays, new arrivals etc.
For new families, the system will also allow:
- Automatic introductory class booking
- Online class registration
- Online waiting list system for full classes
As with all new systems, there may be a few hiccups along the way but hopefully together we can get everything running smoothly as soon as possible!
