What is Kindermusik?

Kindermusik is still relatively new in the UK and Ireland compared to the rest of the world but already it has a significant following -  Kindermusik UK is the fastest growing Kindermusik programme worldwide with a 10 fold increase in educators in the last year and over 100 people enrolling for training.

We believe that Kindermusik stands out in the UK versus other children's music and movement programmes and hear it from teachers and parents alike.

UK Kindermusik educators say that it is a perfect blend of their love of children and passion for music. They praise the high quality teaching materials and instruments and the depth of research learnings built into the programme. Teachers enjoy being able to educate parents on the benefits of music on whole child development whilst nurturing the child/ adult bond.

Parents tell us that the class content, quality of home CDs, instruments and books makes it a complete learning experience that stands out against the competition. They recognise that offering a child a diverse range of music from different cultures and backgrounds makes for a much richer experience, whilst also being acceptable to all nationalities.

Unlike most music and movement programmes, families joining Kindermusik music classes can start from newborn, meaning even the youngest baby can benefit from a well thought out, developmentally appropriate programme. Families tend to stay with Kindermusik through all the curricula up to the age of  7 years. This provides a perfect springboard to more formal instrument learning. that children in the UK tend to start around 8 years.
